Keep Brevard Beautiful Recognizes Aqua Palm Bay Apartments with We Noticed Award

Keep Brevard Beautiful’s (KBB) South Action Team presented the “We Noticed” Beautification Award to Northshore Development for the newly developed Aqua Palm Bay Apartments, located within the Bayfront Community Redevelopment District in Palm Bay on February 10. This unique apartment community features four-story mid-rise buildings, which have been selectively situated to maximize views and accessibility to natural areas and water features within the community and the intercoastal waterway to create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The complex includes amenities such as a beach-style entry pool, fitness center, central stormwater pond with eco-friendly water treatment, billiards and entertainment area, clubhouse, electric charging station and more. Despite being new to Brevard County, they were nominated in 2020 for the Aurora Award for Best Interior Merchandising, Community Amenity or Clubhouse and have already broken ground on their next housing venture in Palm Bay. With the help of REW Landscaping, Aqua Palm Bay Apartments created a resort-style area filled with Florida-friendly plants in their stormwater pond and throughout their grounds. The extra steps taken can be seen across their beautiful landscape filled with palm trees, cypress, magnolias, coonties, hibiscus, dozens of bird of paradise, and so many more.

Attending the “We Noticed” presentation were City of Palm Bay City Manager Suzanne Sherman, Growth Management Director Laurence Bradley, and other employees; Aqua Palm Bay Apartments’ Business Manager Vanessa Potter; and South Action Team trustees. The South Action Team recognizes property- and business-owners throughout the southern part of Brevard County year-round for their efforts to beautify the area and environmentally improve their landscaping. The program has been in operation since the 1990’s and has recognized dozens of properties throughout the County.

He is a graduate of Stetson University with degrees in finance and applied statistics.

Blake A. Maher

He provides a broad range of financial and management coordination through the entire development cycle. Prior to joining NSD, Blake worked as an analyst in the Property Finance division of Doral Bank. He was responsible for analyzing potential debt investments across multiple asset classes for a national real estate platform. His primary responsibilities included cash flow analysis, debt memorandum creation and market research. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a background in Finance and Economics, as well as a graduate of Crummer School of Business at Rollins College where he obtained his Masters in Business Administration.

Mr. Shulterbrondt is an accounting and finance professional with over 12 years of experience in the real estate industry. Throughout his career he has served in various accounting roles of property management and construction with a unique expertise in the sectors of multifamily housing, office, and retail. His success has been primarily due to his professionalism and excellent work ethics. Mr. Shulterbrondt holds a Master of Finance degree from Webster University.
